Unlike an employee assistance programme (EAP) and other mental health solutions on the market, Condition Management is for a small proportion of your staff who are at risk of under-performance and absence due to a recurrent condition, such as depression, anxiety, pain, fatigue, neurodiversity and others.

Condition Management keeps staff engaged. Targeted progress calls ensure staff are learning and implementing strategies to keep themselves well throughout the year, regularly and at points when they need it most. Alongside informed HR liaison and professional clinical oversight, staff most at risk of absence can be supported by someone who knows their individual needs to maintain a stable and productive team. Condition Management is a unique approach that effectively prevents absence whilst building staff resilience and productivity over time.

There are five components to the Condition Management Pathway.

Holistic Assessment

  • Establishes readiness & engagement

  • Delivered by an accredited therapist

Condition Management Component 2

Progress Calls

  • Regular and flexible contact from a defined mental health professional built around the individual’s unique needs, year-round.

  • Allows staff to reach out to a professional who knows them and their condition when they need support.

  • Identifies illness signatures at the earliest point for early intervention. 

  • Targeted at key points throughout the year to ensure staff are developing and implementing strategies that will keep them well.

Condition Management Component 3

HR Liaison & Reporting

  • Comprehensive reporting to inform appropriate adjustments

  • Recommendations for additional treatments e.g.; psychotherapy, physiotherapy, signposting to support groups, and others to ensure a joined-up approach to managing staff at risk of absence.

Condition Management Component 4

Behavioural Support

  • Access to professional behavioural and psychotherapeutic support, building skills, management strategies & problem solving for long-term resilience.

Clinical Oversight & Expertise

  • Oversight from our most experienced clinicians to check that adjustments and recommendations are effective in the long-term.
